I see on Worklogs there is a created on date now. I think it would be more helpful to me if this was a last edited date. This way I could easily tell how late a student was putting in their worklog.
While we understand where you're coming from here, it is really possible for us to pull this off because the modified date on a record gets updated for any number of reasons including you approving/rejecting the work log. Therefore the modified date will not be accurate enough to hold the student accountable. I think it may be in your best interest to set up a work log approval signature page for approving work logs. This will allow you to see the date that the work logs were submitted for approval and you'll know they weren't late in entering the data.
