Work Log entries on calendar immediately showing green, details don't open automatically and then the entry disappears

Creating a work log entry for a previous day. Drag to calendar and it immediately shows green (despite not being approved). The details area of the log doesn’t automatically open like it used to. Then it disappears when you try to edit it.
