Track past & current courses for SIS course syncing to determine program/pathway alignment AND include student level definitions

By allowing any course a student has taken (current or past) to be recognized and used to determine program/pathway assignments AND setting up definitions of levels within a pathway (Participant, Concentrator, Completer) to be used in determining the program/pathway assignments. AND in addition to showing the program/pathway the student is in based on course completion, to also indicate if they are a Participant, Concentrator, or Completer based on the criteria met.

For instance…

  • A Participant is a student who has completed at least 1.0 credits in a single pathway.

  • A Concentrator is a student who has completed more than 1.0 and up to 2.0 credits in a single pathway AND has met 70% competency completion (based on end of course grade averages).

  • A Completer is a student who has earned 3.0+ credits in a single pathway, met 70% competency completion AND passed an IRC.

Having this show on a students profile would be helpful to both students, parents, and counselors to know how close a student is in completing a pathway(s).

The feature would be helpful for Kansas state reporting as we have to assign students yearly to pathways based on course completion records and determine if they are a Participant, Concentrator or Completer.
