There should be an option that allows the On Site Visit status to be based on whether the employer has a visit recorded instead of the student
In some instances, the school is simply concerned with whether the employer was followed up with and would like the status reset regardless of whether a student was present or not.

It’s probably best to allow the school to change the label “On-site Visit” to “Employer check in”. We’re finding some schools are not required to do an on-site visit but are making it a best practice to record regular check-ins with active employers.

Allow on site visits to be untethered from students present. For instance, if a school doesn’t visit a student in particular and they just make sure that the employer is visited. This should change the way the statuses work for each individual experience as well since the student isn’t required to be present to fulfill the visit for the experience.
