The national career clusters & pathways currently used do not match those used in specific states like Virginia & California

Currently a nationally recognized list for career clusters and pathways (https://careertech.org/career-clusters) is used in our applications.  However, individual states have chosen to deviate from this and created their own career clusters & pathways.

Virginia: https://www.cteresource.org/career-clusters/

California: https://www.aeseducation.com/blog/california-career-pathways

The state the application is built for should be used to determine which list to use once this data is imported into the global database.

    This will be configured on our end on a per instance basis. We will add a constant named REGION and set it to the state abbreviation. If REGION is not set, it will default to the national list.
