One of the challenges I’ve noticed is getting parents to sign forms. I think having the ability to send the forms to a parent/guardian via text and/or email would be a great feature to add.
Looking at the prices posted, it’s hard to determine what the cost would be over the course of the academic year. I think this feature would be great to have, and I think my division would be willing to pay for it if the cost feature was more known (for example, a flat fee added as an add-on to our current package).

If we implemented this, we would allow you to create an account in Twilio and use your own account to send out SMS. We would not markup that cost and be the middleman for billing. Additionally, it’s not possible for us to provide a flat rate because, just like you said, it’s very hard to gauge how much it would cost us to have a feature like this implemented.

If you had to pay additionally for texting services, would you still be interested in this feature? We can accomplish SMS sending via Twilio. Here is the pricing:
Forms are already sent to a parent/guardian via email when when it is their turn to complete them. While we could add the ability to send an SMS (text) message alert, there are additional inherent costs with sending text messages.

SMS Pricing in United States for Text Messaging | Twilio We have not entertained this feature in the past because no one is willing to pay the additional cost, we’ve been waiting for someone that will to implement it.
