We'd like to be able to pull up just the portion of a task list assigned to a lesson or a course or a local assessment to make it easier to both check students off AND look for gaps in our curriculum.

@Emily Miller You can already view the number of lesson plans created for each task from the Task List page. You can create a stub lesson plan that identifies how students will be taught and assessed and link it to one or more tasks.
