We made the decision years ago to stop looking at start dates for enrollments. Most of the time, the school would want the teachers to have access to those students prior to the start date of the enrollment. This was changed to work this way due to people reporting that exact use case. In some instances, we are not even sent the start date by some SIS’s which would cause issues if we required it. The only thing that we can do is add a setting to make the start date be honored.
