Somehow allow Employer Documents to be employer-specific or contact-specific

For instance, worker’s compensation and general liability insurance is not needed for each contact and would be the same for the entire company. However clearances and background checks should be specific to each contact.

      I followed your directions .. then I went to a hospital that has multiple contacts - none of them have the worker’s comp attached to them BUT it now appears on their employer tab under “Documents” .. that totally makes sense !!! people can come and go from a company and the doc stays there .. and it looks like when I run the report for Employer Contacts that people in the same company have the same date .. also great !!! We load our Worker’s Comp through the WBL menu under Employer Documents and it looks like it is still pulling the info from there .. so I think this is awesome !!! Thank you ..     This one is becoming more and more of a problem since most states only use Employer Documents for insurance and not clearances so it’s working incorrectly most of the time.

      So is there a way to have “Documents” connected to the company rather than the way it is now set up where “Documents” is connected to the Contact .. or should we put our WComp Document under “Forms”? That idea is scary since it would be the only form that requires yearly updating ..

        Jean, currently employer documents can only be attached to a contact. This stems from the fact that when this was originally built, it was only used to track clearances for contacts. However, it has evolved over time to be used for other purposes like workers comp insurance and we need to update this accordingly.
