Option to prevent students from modifying approved work hours by program

Ed added the following context via live chat. I though I put it in as a comment, but mustn’t have:

“I just wanted to share some additional info on why I requested there be a possibility to "lock" some work logs after they are approved. We are looking into using this platform to track our Cos hours. So far it is looking promising which will bump us up to the larger plan next year for student numbers. Cosmetology students earn hours while working in our school's salon (I made NMTCC Salon Hours as a WBL experience), as well as if they are in a Co-op position. As a trial, we are having three students clock in their Salon hours on the app and then explain what they did. Running a student report shows the combination hours from the schools salon as well as any work experience outside of North Montco. The teacher has concerns that students could go back and "fudge" their hours. If I could "lock" student ability to modify a Cosmetology work log after it has been approved by me, that would be great. Allowing me to modify it would be a good thing though should a student have made a mistake and I did not catch it.”

We do not want Cosmetology students to be able to go in an add hours that they did not actually earn. If I approve the work log that states 5 hours, I do not want the student to be able to go back and modify what I approved. They could simply go in and change the start and finish time and give themselves 8 hours. Again, this only matters with Cosmetology as the instructors are required to have some method of tracking the hours that they earn for state reporting.
