Create a WBL Opportunity application process for students to send more information to employers

Structured Workflow for Student Job Applications

1. Pre-Screening and Application Control

  • Schools and employers may want to:

    • Pre-screen applicants before submission.

    • Limit the number of applications per opportunity.

    • Set deadlines for applications.

2. Student Interest Indication

  • Instead of applying directly, students first select “I’m Interested”.

  • This triggers a notification to the school.

  • Schools can then view and manage a list of interested students.

3. School Review and Approval

  • Schools have the authority to:

    • Approve or deny interested applicants before sending them to the employer.

    • Ensure only qualified candidates proceed.

4. Employer-Specific Application Requirements

  • Some employers require additional documents (e.g., immunization records for healthcare).

  • Schools can assign:

    • Required student documents.

    • Form templates specific to each Work-Based Learning (WBL) opportunity.

5. Submission to Employer

  • Once applicants are approved, the school can:

    • Click a button to send a vetted list of applicants to the employer.

    • Include resumes, uploaded documents, and completed forms.

6. Employer Decision and Next Steps

  • Employers receive a notification with applicant details.

  • Additional functionalities could include:

    • A link for employers to mark who they’d like to hire.

    • A mechanism to schedule interviews
