Create a more structured approach to setting student goals and tracking historical progress towards the achievement of those goals

Allow student goals to be set and tracked and ensure they align with multiple initiatives for supporting student growth and achievement such as ICAP / IEP / ALP / and 504 plans.

An ALP (Academic and Learning Plan) refers to a personalized roadmap designed to guide a student’s educational journey, focusing on their academic growth, learning goals, and future aspirations. It typically includes:

  1. Academic Goals: A set of short-term and long-term goals related to the student’s coursework, academic performance, and skills development.

  2. Learning Strategies: Customized strategies to address the student's strengths and areas of improvement, supporting them in achieving their academic goals.

  3. Intervention Plans: A description of any support services or interventions (such as tutoring, accommodations, or mentorship) the student might need.

  4. Career Pathways: If applicable, ALPs may also align with career exploration and planning, helping students connect their academic achievements to potential career paths.

ALPs should include periodic check-ins to assess and document progress and adjust plans as necessary.
