Allow student goals to be set and tracked and ensure they align with multiple initiatives for supporting student growth and achievement such as ICAP / IEP / ALP / and 504 plans.
An ALP (Academic and Learning Plan) refers to a personalized roadmap designed to guide a student’s educational journey, focusing on their academic growth, learning goals, and future aspirations. It typically includes:
Academic Goals: A set of short-term and long-term goals related to the student’s coursework, academic performance, and skills development.
Learning Strategies: Customized strategies to address the student's strengths and areas of improvement, supporting them in achieving their academic goals.
Intervention Plans: A description of any support services or interventions (such as tutoring, accommodations, or mentorship) the student might need.
Career Pathways: If applicable, ALPs may also align with career exploration and planning, helping students connect their academic achievements to potential career paths.
ALPs should include periodic check-ins to assess and document progress and adjust plans as necessary.
