Change Progressions
If any progression doesn’t have a date set, it just doesn’t go to it until you tell it to. Allow skipping progressions. If a date is set on a future progression and not the previous, it needs to activate both progressions and start the newest. To the query, add if progression date is set so it has the ability to see back further. When you hit “Start progress now” it should set todays and date and start it.

Flexibility is key for scheduling the our OJL guides. Not all schools operate on the same schedule, however, we all need to have 2 evaluations each year. Also keep in mind that not all students are in a Year 2. Again, flexibility is key here.

I agree with Mike Rick. This is a very important tool and aspect for the State of Wisconsin to be able to complete. it is important that this is addressed.

In Wisconsin, two evaluations per year are required for students participating in Youth Apprenticeship. Work-Based Learning Coordinators must have the ability to schedule these evaluations as needed, in coordination with the employer. The timing of the final required evaluation is typically tied to the student reaching 450 work hours or graduating. Because this timing is not always known in advance, the system must allow evaluations to be scheduled flexibly rather than on fixed dates.
The system must clearly display required evaluation progressions as Evaluation #1 and Evaluation #2. If Evaluation #2 is scheduled before Evaluation #1, the system should automatically activate and track both required evaluations to ensure compliance with state requirements.
Evaluation #3 and Evaluation #4 must be available on an “as needed” basis and should not be tied to or included in the required progression cycle of Evaluations #1 and #2. These additional evaluations are intended for case-by-case use and should remain optional, independent of the two annual evaluation requirement.
