Implement an auto-save functionality for work logs while the user is typing, to prevent loss of data if the user accidentally navigates away from the page.
Are you talking about them accidentally clicking outside of the popup window causing them to lose the progress? We’ve been down the road of periodic saving of forms and it becomes very confusing to the end user because data can stick where it shouldn’t. But we do want to help any way we can.
