After a session times out, the user should be redirected to the login page. This currently is how it’s supposed to work, but instead, the user is given an unexpected error.
See if there is a way to detect that a tab was reselected to verify session status when the entire page comes back into focus

The session timeout code still works but the tab has to be active. Updates to Chrome sleep any tabs that are not active so we have no way to determine if the session is still active. We could rely on this client side?
