Advisory Boards - General UI Improvements

Currently there are a number of areas that are not very easy to use.

  • Advisory board selector for admins is not ideal (easy to accidentally be looking at the wrong advisory board).

  • Itโ€™s not really clear that the New and Bulk New buttons are for creating meetings vs. creating advisory boards.

  • There really needs to be a way to see the status of all meetings of the same type (ie. Spring OAC Meeting 2022, Fall OAC meeting 2021). Maybe we need to create a group of related meetings to make this happen. The agenda template itself is not really enough this there could be Spring 2021 and Spring 2022 meetings using the same agenda template. This could be as simple as assigning a Name or Tag to meetings (especially when using Bulk New).

  • When creating/editing advisory boards, it is unclear that selecting multiple classes makes multiple individual adv boards instead of one that is shared. Sharing is not currently supported.

  • Forcing people to create/select meeting minutes signature page and admin response templates before they can use adv boards is not ideal. Some schools may not even want to use those features but want to manage meeting members. Maybe we could have a default selection or revise this somehow.
