Adding students to group fails with save error

Adding students to a group is broken: saving the selected students returns an error and asks to try again, and the USERS button no longer opens the search field so student names cannot be entered. The flow is unusable, preventing groups from being set up. Investigate the save failure and the unresponsive USERS control in the group student-add flow.

Also many students are duplicated in the app, but don’t exist in UAR.
