Since there are scholarships based on all sorts of criteria, students will need to answer some basic questions about themselves and about their interests to allow us to match them up with scholarships that are right for them. Students can find scholarships based on where they live, their gender, race, or ethnic background, religious affiliation, GPA, and/or involvement in CTSOs or other organizations. Matches can also be made based on where students would like to attend college or other criteria (see examples here:
https://www.fastweb.com/scholarship-directory).
Jobready pulls available scholarship results from national databases, but districts can also add their own. Each scholarship will include a brief description, monetary awards, application deadline, application requirements, and a link to apply. Scholarships of particular interest can then be favorited and students can mark when they apply. Once a scholarship is favorited, reminders will be sent as the deadline for application approaches.
