Add a setting to WBL Types to allow students to create their own experiences

For instance, for general work experiences, summer jobs, entrepreneurship, etc. where the student’s have already obtained employment, it would be helpful if the student could create the experience. This would also give them the ability to add an employer/contact. Someone with a WBL Coordinator role could then approve the experience.

    This seems to be coming up a lot. Here are some additional things to consider.

    For instance, a student should be able to let you as a Coordinator know that they scheduled a Job Shadow with Contact A at Company X to occur on X date.

    Another option would be to let you know that they scheduled an interview with Contact B at Company Y to occur on X date for an Internship or Co-Op experience. There is currently no way to track if an interview is scheduled so that could be beneficial. If accepted/hired, the student could then propose an experience with all of the details of the position and the Coordinator could accept it.

    This same mechanism could be used for the students to report on any WBL Events that they participated in that may or may not have been tracked by their teachers from the past.

    Can the system auto populate or push a pop up message if the employer’s contact information a student is trying to add is already in the system?

    One challenge here is students creating duplicate employer/contact records.
